About Frameguard
Frameguard is a free tool that shows where each short-form video platform's interface covers your content, so you can fix a layout before you post instead of after.
It is built around a simple promise: your files never leave your device. The tool runs in your browser and draws everything to a canvas locally. There is no account, no upload and no server that sees your video.
How we measure
We overlay each platform's interface on a 1080×1920 canvas on common phone sizes and record how deep the controls reach from each edge. We then round up, so the margins err on the side of safety. They are estimates, and they will not match every device or app version exactly.
How we verify specs
Duration, file size, caption and hashtag figures are checked against the platforms' own help pages wherever we can reach them. Every figure on the site carries a label showing whether it was read on an official page, quoted by independent sources, reported by secondary sources, or disputed. When sources disagree we say so instead of picking a number.
Update policy
Each page shows the date it was last reviewed. We re-check the figures regularly and keep a changelog of changes. If you see something that is out of date, please tell us.
