Frameguard

Privacy Policy

Your files stay on your device

When you add an image or video to Frameguard, it is read by your browser and drawn to a canvas on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. Share links store only your settings in the link itself, never your file.

What we store

Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage. We do not create accounts and we do not keep a database of visitors.

Optional text check

The text collision check loads an open-source script library (Tesseract.js) from a public content delivery network the first time you click it. Your image is still processed in your browser. Loading the library means that network can see a normal web request from your device.

Advertising and cookies

Frameguard may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Where required, we ask for your consent first. You can manage personalized advertising at Google's ad settings and learn more at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 with consent defaults set to denied, which means analytics storage is off until you agree. If we do not enable it, no analytics run.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA, including the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to opt out of the sale or sharing of data. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests will have little to act on, but you can contact us at hello@frameguardpro.com at any time.

Children

Frameguard is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
